Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. vinegar
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Boil sugar, vinegar and turmeric.
    Pour over cabbage mixture. This slaw will keep for weeks in refrigerator.
