Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted lard
2 2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In a saucepan, beat eggs. Add milk and heat together.
Add vanilla. Remove from heat.
In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
Add to egg mixture. Add shortening. Drop by teaspoonfuls in hot fat.
Cook until brown.
These will turn themselves.
