Puritans' Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. chocolate ice cream or sherbet
    1 gal. hot strong coffee
    1 large bottle soda water
Preparation
    Blend 1 1/2 quarts ice cream into hot coffee. Chill until time to serve. Add soda water and float 1/2 quart ice cream.
    When serving, spoon a little ice cream into each cup.
    Makes approximately 4 dozen cups.
