Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 c. shredded coconut
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. corn flakes, crush after measuring
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

This is my husband, Bill's, current favorite cookie.
It is a good chewy oatmeal cookie and the recipe can be doubled.
