Cherry Topped Cheese Cakes - cooking recipe

1 pkg. white cake mix
2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
4 c. powdered sugar
2 8 oz. tubs cool whip
2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to instructions on package. Divide into 2 9x13 greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Cool.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until fluffy; fold in cool whip.
Divide evenly over both cakes. Top with pie filling and chill at least 4 hours.
