Rolled Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/4 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar; add egg, milk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Stir flour with baking powder and salt.
    Blend into creamed mixture.
    Divide in half.
    Cover.
    Chill 1 hour.
    On a lightly floured surface, roll each half to 1/8-inch thickness for thick cookies.
    Cut into desired shapes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen.
