Sugar Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. broken nuts
    4 tsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Set oven at 375\u00b0.
    Put shortening on a piece of waxed paper. Rub over cookie sheets until lightly greased.
    Soften shortening with wooden spoon.
    Mix sugar in well.
    Add egg.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Sift flour onto paper.
    Measure.
    Add baking powder and salt.
    Sift mixture onto another paper.
    Add milk to shortening-egg mixture.
    Add flour mixture and nuts.
