Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can kraut
    1 c. diced celery
    1 diced pepper (optional)
    1 diced onion
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Drain liquid off kraut.
    Add celery, pepper and onion.
    Mix oil, vinegar and sugar; heat until sugar has melted.
    Chill.
    Pour over kraut; mix and chill.
