1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water
Preparation

Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk, oil and vanilla.
Mix until smooth.
Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan.
