Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    5 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 1/2 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar
Preparation
    Combine crumbs and melted butter.
    Press into an 8-inch pie pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
    Saute onions in oil until tender; arrange into pie shell.
    Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over onions.
    Top with Cheddar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
