Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. syrup
    1 scant c. bacon drippings
    pinch of salt
    rounded Tbsp. baking soda
    rounded cook spoon ginger
    flour for stiff dough (about 5 c.)
Preparation
    Heat syrup (do not boil). Pour over bacon drippings.
    Add baking soda, salt, ginger and flour.
    Roll and cut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
