Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
    2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. unsalted peanuts (use less, if desired)
    3 c. unpeeled, diced apples
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and save juice.
    Combine pineapple with marshmallows.
    Let stand in refrigerator ovenright.
    Mix remaining juice, sugar, flour, egg and vinegar in a saucepan.
    Cook until thick.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Take sauce and add to Cool Whip mix and then add remaining ingredients.
    Put in bowl.
    Cover and chill 8 hours.
