Lettuce Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce, broken into small pieces
    1/2 c. celery, sliced thin
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
    1/4 c. green onion, cut fine
    1 pkg. frozen peas
Preparation
    Mix together; spread 1/2 pint mayonnaise on top.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese on top.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    When ready to serve, top with 4 boiled and sliced eggs and bacon bits.
