Potato Kugel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, minced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. grated potatoes
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    salt and pepper (freshly ground) to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in butter until browned.
    Mix eggs with potatoes; sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to potatoes and eggs.
    Stir in the onions and the butter in which they were cooked.
    Blend well.
    Pour into a well-greased one-quart casserole dish and bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about one hour.
    Edges of kugel should be brown and crisp.
    Makes 6 servings.
    Top with sour cream.
