Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. fruit (blueberries, apples, peaches, prunes, etc., fresh frozen or canned), drained
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in 1 or 1 1/2-quart baking dish in oven or microwave.
    Meanwhile, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Stir in the milk and mix until batter is smooth. Pour this mixture over melted butter in baking dish.
    Sprinkle the fruit on top.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Serve warm with whipped cream. (Can be doubled.)
