Barb'S Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 bunches fresh broccoli
2 red onions, sliced into thin rings
1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Miracle Whip to taste
Preparation

Clean broccoli and blanch in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse in cold water.
Drain.
In a large bowl mix broccoli, red onion rings and bacon pieces.
Add enough Miracle Whip to moisten. Sprinkle shredded cheese into salad (reserve some for top) and mix well.
Top with reserved cheese.
Chill for several hours before serving.
