Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
    1 chopped onion
    1 pt. chicken broth
    1 pt. milk
    1/2 pt. half and half
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion and mushrooms in butter.
    Add flour and mix well. Add broth, milk and seasonings.
    Cook for 30 minutes on low heat, stirring often.
    Add half and half and heat through.
    Serves 4.
