Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. raw peanuts
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. oleo or butter
Preparation
    Stir together sugars and water.
    Add peanuts; cook to 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    At 300\u00b0, remove from heat and add butter and soda.
    Stir well.
    Pour onto greased surface.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces.
