Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 c. packed dark brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream together butter, brown sugar and sugar; beat in vanilla.
Add eggs, beat for 3 to 4 minutes. Combine flour, salt and soda, add to creamed mixture.
Mixture will be sticky, yet dry.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper-lined cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes before removing.
