Coconut Pie #3 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch pie shell
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour.
    Mix milk, vanilla and egg yolks.
    Mix all dry ingredients with milk, eggs and vanilla.
    Put oleo in and cook over low heat until thick.
    Pour in baked pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add a pinch of salt and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
    Spread on top of pie.
    Sprinkle with coconut.
    Bake until brown.
