Lib Hick'S Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 2) can cherries or about 2 1/2 c. any fruit or berries
Preparation
    Mix the dry ingredients and then add milk, forming a batter. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in baking dish.
    Pour batter on top of the butter.
    Heat berries or fruit, mixing in extra 1/2 cup of sugar if fruit is not already sweetened.
    Pour hot berries over the batter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven.
