Caramel Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix 2 cups of sugar, flour, egg yolks and cream in large boiler.
    Melt 1/2 cup sugar in a heavy iron skillet.
    Start both at the same time.
    Stirring constantly, melt sugar to a light brown. Mix with milk and sugar mixture.
    Cook until it forms a soft ball in water.
    Use cold water to test.
    Stir until cool enough to spread on cake.
