Carrot Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. coarsely chopped apples
    1 c. golden raisins
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl; blend thoroughly. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the first mixture and mix well.
    Stir in remaining ingredients except frosting.
    Pour into 2 greased 9-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes until center of cake is firm to touch.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans and finish cooling on cake racks. Frost with vanilla frosting.
