Roast Leg Of Lamb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leg of lamb
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 stick butter
    4 cloves garlic
    salt and pepper
    oregano
Preparation
    Cut incisions in meat
    and
    fill with garlic.
    Rub lamb with lemon juice, salt,\tpepper, oregano and butter.
    Place in roasting pan with water.
    Bake
    in
    preheated
    475\u00b0\toven
    for about 1 hour or until browned.
    Lower
    heat to 350\u00b0; cover and bake until done. When meat\tis
    almost
    cooked,
    you
    may add potatoes if you wish.
