English Muffin Loaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
6 c. unsifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. water
2 c. milk
corn meal
Preparation

Mix half of the flour and all other dry ingredients.
Heat liquids until very warm.
Add to dry mix; beat well.
Stir in rest of the flour to make stiff batter.
Spoon into two pans, greased and sprinkled with corn meal.
Cover and let rise 45 minutes, then bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool.
Slice and toast.
