Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken broth
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. onion salt
    2 carrots, peeled and chopped
    2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
    2 tsp. parsley
    2 c. milk
    1/2 to 3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut in chunks
    10 Tbsp. flour (add 1/2 c. milk to make sauce)
Preparation
    Put chicken broth and onion salt in saucepan and warm.
    Add carrots and potatoes to broth and water.
    After they have cooked awhile, mash with potato masher until in fine little bits.
    Add milk and parsley, then add some soup mixture to the milk and flour sauce; stir until smooth.
    Add this to rest of soup mixture.
    Add cheese and stir constantly on low heat, being careful not to scorch.
