Spoon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. milk
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. plain corn meal
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix first five ingredients in 2-quart pan.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and is a thick mush.
Remove from fire and stir until cool.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat very hard after each addition.
Add baking powder.
Place in greased baking dish and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with spoon.
Delicious served with dried beans.
