Grandma Mcclellan'S Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
4 Tbsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour

Preparation

Mix and chill overnight.
Decorate with nuts and egg whites.
