Pasta Sauce(Makes 12 Cups) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small onions - chopped
    4 cloves garlic - chopped
    1/4 cup oil
    2 (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes - undrained
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
    8 cups water
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tbsp. dried italian seasoning
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 tbsp. dried basil
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil over medium heat in dutch oven for 10 minutes.
    Stir in tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, stirring often, for 2 hours and 10 minutes.
    May be frozen.
