Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    35 to 40 vanilla wafers
    4 bananas, sliced
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup of sugar and flour.
    Stir in egg yolks and milk.
    Cook slowly over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, layer vanilla wafers and sliced bananas.
    Pour custard over layers.
