German Sweet Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate (sweet, 4 oz.)
    1/4 c. butter
    1 can evaporated milk (14 1/2 oz.,)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until blended.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in milk; set aside.
    In large bowl of electric mixer, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla and mix thoroughly.
    Gradually blend in chocolate mixture; pour into unbaked pie shell.
