Fluffy Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cream of tartar, salt and water in a small saucepan.
    Bring to boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
    Boil without stirring to 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer or until a soft ball forms in cold water.
    Set syrup aside.
