Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. fresh or canned corn
    1 egg yolk, beaten thick
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    few grains paprika
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob; drain.
    Add egg yolk.
    Stir in sifted dry ingredients.
    Fold in egg white.
    Drop from tablespoon into fat heated to 370\u00b0.
    Cook until delicately brown.
    Drain on paper towel.
