Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
    Make a paste of food coloring and cocoa.
    Add to mixture.
    Add flour, salt, milk and vanilla, gradually.
    Mix well.
    Mix vinegar and soda in a small bowl.
    Add to other ingredients by hand.
    Bake in 3 (8-inch) pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
