Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten slightly
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. mashed bananas
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and mix.
Then add alternately dry ingredients, banana and milk.
Stir in nuts and pour into greased and floured large baking loaf pan or two smaller loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 on 1 level below oven center for 1 hour.
