Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. onion, chopped
    4 c. water
    1 c. carrots, diced
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. potato, cubed
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. bouquet sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. basil
    28 oz. can tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook meat until brown.
    Drain off fat.
    Cook onion in meat until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients except tomatoes. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add tomatoes; stir and simmer 10 minutes longer.
    Serves 6.
