Holiday Date And Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. dates
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add dry ingredients with buttermilk and vanilla.
Add chopped dates and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes in
9 1/2 x 14 x 2-inch pan. Inserted knife should come out clean.
