Boston Baked Beans(Serves 50) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 lb. navy beans
    4 lb. bacon
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. molasses
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. red pepper
    2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    8 medium onions, chopped
    2 c. tomato catsup
    4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 tall cans tomato paste
Preparation
    Pick beans and wash well.
    Soak overnight in water to cover. Next morning, add all ingredients (do not drain off water).
    Boil until skin will curl on beans when removed from liquid (about 30 minutes).
    Place in covered pans, burying bacon beneath beans after scoring.
    Cook at 300\u00b0 for 5 to 6 hours, adding water as necessary, to keep beans barely covered.
    Remove lid the last hour.
    Bring bacon to top to brown.
