Hot Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 oz. Mexene chili powder
    1 1/2 c. water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine ground beef, onions and salt in skillet and cook until done.
    Drain off excess fat, then add 3/4 jar chili powder.
    Mix well and add tomato sauce and one can of water.
    Mix well and pour into 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
