Whole Wheat Banana Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. mashed ripe banana
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. honey
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
vegetable cooking spray
Preparation

Combine flour, wheat germ, baking soda and salt in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture.
Combine banana, oil, honey, eggs and vanilla.
Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Coat a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
Spoon batter into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Yield:
1 loaf (about 118 calories per 1/2-inch slice).
