Betty'S Pineapple Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 can sliced pineapple (6)
    whipping cream
    slivered almonds
    cherries
Preparation
    Place can of milk, unopened, in a large pan.
    Cover with water; keep at a boil for 3 1/2 hours, never allowing the water to go below the can.
    Cool in refrigerator.
    (Can boil more than one can at a time and store unused.)
    Open both ends of can and gently push out caramelized milk.
    Lay on side and slice one slice at a time, using a sharp knife.
    Arrange pineapple slices on 6 dessert plates and place caramel slice on top, lining up both pieces as they will be same size.
    Top with whipping cream, almonds and cherry.
    Very refreshing dessert!
