Date Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dates, cut in small pieces
1/2 lb. pecans
10 Tbsp. white (fine) cracker crumbs
2 tsp. baking powder
6 eggs
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. canned milk
Preparation

Beat egg yolks.
Add canned milk.
Add sugar and beat.
Add fruit and nut mixture with crumbs.
Mix together, then fold in the egg whites which have been beaten well.
Pour in 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
Bake in slow oven for 40 minutes.
