Pop'S Apple Ugly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/3 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Mix in bowl the sugar, flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
Stir in oil, eggs and vanilla.
Batter will be thick.
With hands, mix in apples, raisins and nuts.
Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Leave plain or top with thin layer of frosting.
