Our Family Spaghetti(Student Favorite) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onions
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. lean hamburger meat
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 (14 1/2 oz. each) cans whole peeled tomatoes (1 can drained)
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. fennel
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
spaghetti, cooked
Preparation

Saute onions in olive oil until translucent.
Add meat and garlic.
Stir until meat is brown.
Drain off excess grease.
Add all other ingredients, except the last 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
Stir and mash tomatoes until mixed.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.
Add remaining garlic powder.
Cover.
On low heat, cook for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over spaghetti.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
