Almond Float - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/3 c. cold water
1 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. evaporated milk, undiluted
1 (4 oz.) can fruit cocktail
other fruits (such as mandarin oranges and cherries)
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in 1/3 cup cold water.
Add hot water and sugar.
Stir.
Pour in almond extract and milk.
Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Chill until gelatin sets.
Cut into bite size squares.
Mix with fruit cocktail or choice of fruits. Garnish with lemon slices.
