Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas (approximately 3 medium)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, margarine and nutmeg until fluffy.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time.
    Stir in bananas and vanilla.
    Combine flour, powder, soda and salt.
    Beat into mixture alternating with buttermilk.
    Stir in nuts.
    Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
    Top with cream cheese icing.
