Braised Beef With Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/2 clove garlic
3/4 c. sliced onion
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 bouillon cube
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cut meat into 1-inch cubes.
Drain mushrooms, saving liquid. Chop garlic and brown with onion and mushrooms in shortening. Dissolve bouillon cube in 1 cup hot water.
Add with mushroom liquid and remaining ingredients to meat.
