Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    2/3 c. white vinegar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 or 3 crushed garlic cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 bunch carrots, cut to finger eating size
    1 pkg. celery
    2 cans pitted black olives, drained
    1 head cauliflower, cut in flowerets
    2 jars stuffed olives, drained
    2 cans artichoke hearts, halved
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
Preparation
    Mix the first 6 ingredients together and pour over the vegetables.
    Marinate in fridge 24 hours.
    Toss occasionally.
