Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 sticks margarine
    3 c. flour (plain)
    1 c. milk
    4 eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar well.
    Add half of flour and half of milk alternately, starting with flour and ending with flour.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating next half of the flour and milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured cake pan.
    Put into cold oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, then turn to 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Do not open oven until you take cake out.
    Set pan on damp cloth for 5 minutes.
