Potatoes And Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 lb. bacon, fried and cut in small pieces
    5 or 6 new potatoes, cut into large slices (more or less depending on size)
    3 1/4 c. frozen peas, cooked
    1 1/2 c. cream
    1 small onion, minced
    water (as needed)
Preparation
    Wash small potatoes well.
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and add onion in skillet and saute until brown.
    Return bacon bits to pan.\tAdd potatoes.
    Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.
    Add water as needed to keep from sticking.
    Add cooked peas and cream.
    Simmer for a short time.
